Alissa Bahr

President

Alissa has been a member of the Lafayette Falls community since 2020. She lives with her fiancé & German Shepherd. With her experience as a business owner, she brings a blend of big-picture thinking & dedication to serving others. She hopes to facilitate diverse initiatives in the community that will build a sense of family between neighbors.

Valerie Weis

Vice President

Valerie is a founding board member of the Lafayette Falls Neighborhood Association and has called Lafayette Falls home since 2019. She lives in the neighborhood with her husband and two young children. Valerie is deeply committed to preserving the character of the community while advocating for safety, transparency, and thoughtful growth that supports families and neighbors alike.

Austin Vega

Treasurer

Austin and his wife moved to Lafayette Falls in 2022 & welcomed their first daughter in 2025. Austin brings his skills as a CPA of 7 years to the Neighborhood Association. He hopes to create community building opportunities that make the the neighborhood a more friendly & engaging place. He and his wife look forward to raising their daughter in our vibrant neighborhood.

Dr. Rashad L. Minor

Secretary

Dr. Minor and his wife have been members of the Lafayette Falls community since 2021. He has extensive backgrounds in social services, business, & education. These core values serve as his vehicles for social improvement, along with his faith-based leadership style, that will help foster engagement & empowerment in our community.

    GENERAL HOA LIAISON

    Tom has been a resident of the South Side of South Bend since 1990, and has lived here at Lafayette Falls since 2014 with his wife and daughter. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Tom also served with the Indiana State Police, with over 32 years of law enforcement experience. His service mirrors his goal to improve every area that he serves. Tom aims to be a voice for the people as a new HOA board member and bring sufficient, sustainable, and safe changes to this neighborhood.
